...whicker and waffle nostrils at you when you walk over to change the rein, or is it just mine? Must get lonely out there on the circle on his own - he's not usually that bothered about seeing me!

Ah now that's sensible of George.

My poor boy has a mean mum & he doesn't tend to get treats after lunging so I don't think its for that reason - must just be sheer hope that its the end of the session!

Oh thats sweet!

I do not lunge my horse much, but when I do, he does not like to leave my side and I end up walking with him!

Nope.....But merlin turns in to look at me, squeaks and then bucks, kicks and farts his way round the circle!!!! But only on the left rein

Fin too sometimes does it when I walk up to him when he's tied up, but its with much more enthusiasm on the lunge!

merlinsQuest - Fin's been known to do that too! Which isn't quite so sweet!

No, but then I don't lunge.

They do scream their heads off from the paddocks as soon as I open the house door in the morning though, my neighbours must hate me (payback for their 14 yappy collies) I don't even feed them, I think they must live in hope

Enfys - they say hope is part of the human condition, but when it comes to food I think it plays a stronger role in horses!

LOL, merlinsQuest - in shark fishing, don't they have a little pole they belt themselves to so they don't get dragged overboard? Could be a useful addition to a school!
