Ok random question I know, but brought my mare in tonight and for some reason I decided to hose her leg so I could put her arc on her leg. I noticed that her right hind was rather large so to rule out a tendon I put her on a circle on the hard and now I'm feeling paranoid as she has had hind limb problems in the last year.

She was taking equal strides but not tracking up however the circle was a max of 10 meters is that normal????

It appears she has mudfever from some small cuts on her cannon bone, so Ive smothered it in the vets green cream and hopefully it will all be a bit better in the morning!

I guess it would be hard to say without seeing it - but you've done all you can for tonight and try not to worry. Easier said than done I know!

See what the morning brings x

I wouldn't ever ask a horse for a big enough trot to track up on a ten metre circle on the hard. If she's level, I'd settle for that :)

Depending on the surface they will shorten their stride as they feel unsteady so I would never expect a horse to track up and show their full movement on a 10m circle on the hard. As KatB says, being level is test enough on that surface.
