Lunging/training aids?

I am thinking in investing in a lunging/training aid like the pessoa. I run my own breaking and schooling service and I also produce horses, has anyone had any experiences on whether or not they are any good?

Also, in my opinion £110 is a bit much for some rope and pulleys, anyone know of any cheaper alternatives?

John Whitaker does one for around £80. I'm open minded about them! some horses like them, others don't!

I have the Equiami lunging aid which, in my opinion, works really well for my boy. It cost £65 if I remember rightly!

Also edited to add that it is designed differently to the Pessoa which means that any movement of the hocks doesn't pull the horse in the mouth.

Countrywide has one of the range called the 'Kincade'
Ebay has loads on there from anything upwards from a tenner!

Which is exactly why I don't like the Pessoa. I use the chambon or a bungee.
