Lurcher found on A465

Hiya, I found a light brown wire haired lurcher today on the A465 between Hereford and Abergavenny. Collar on but no tag, friendly little chap but was very nervous at first - looks like he may have been out for a while.
Anybody knows anyone in the area that's lost a dog or has any ideas what I should do with him appreciated, he's at home with me and has had a nice dinner and snuggled in a bed

Have you informed the dog warden yet?
There are a fair few registered on Doglost.

Not yet - only found him late this evening, contacted police to say I found him and will get on to warden in the morning

there is a brown one missing in that area on dog lost. may be worth you having a look on there and seeing if he matches any of them

Have had a look and can't find anything on there that looks like him so we will see what the warden comes up with in the morning
