Friend was coming home from the pub on Sat night and came across a lurcher bitch wandering, lame, in the road. She was wearing a collar with no ID, no houses nearby. She is extremely skinny. Has been checked by the vet, not chipped (but scar between shoulder blades suggests one may have been removed).

Has been reported to authourities as 'found' and doglost been informed.

If anyone knows of her owners please contact me via PM.

I'm witholding her colour and type as her rightful owners will know this. Don't want her to fall into the wrong hands! Looks like she may have been dumped.

Hello,

My friend lost her brindle lurcher called Myrtle. She went missing last winter. I am contacting you as i thought I would find out more before i forward to her as I do not want to get hopes up.

If you think this lurcher is similar please could you email me on francesmoulaert@gmail.com

Kind regards

Frances Moulaert

Not sure on age. She is short haired and medium size. I can send photo but can I have your email. Do you think this could be it as I will tell my friend if so? I don't want to get her hopes up for no reason as she is very upset about it.

Can you pm me more details. Many lurchers are lost perhaps stolen. A vague description not including distinguishible features of course, would be helpful. Height, coat type, colour, approximate age would be useful. MIL is on the lurcher 'scene' and can make enquiries, if she doesn't have an idea herself.:)
