Lurcher training in West Somerset

Hello,
I have a seven-month-old lurcher and would like to find a trainer/behaviourist in (hopefully West) Somerset who has experience with, or specialises in, lurchers, to help me with the next stage of training. I don't want to let him down by not getting a few things covered as I am not an experienced lurcher owner (although my OH had one for ten years before this one). All recommendations for local experts very gratefully received. I am keen to learn. Many thanks

Do you mean general training? Any good trainer who uses positive reinforcement should be able to help you. Teaching a solid recall and emergency stop, as well as thoroughly socialising them is a must for lurchers and needs to be reinforced throughout their whole life. Go and watch classes before committing to anybody even if highly recommended.
