I have complained about them labelling horse owners cruel....

I have had no response. I called today and someone will get back to me (apparently)

However they did tell me that members of the marketing/PR team are active members of the HSA.

I was hoping the Lush campaign was ignorance....clearly not.

it only gets worse the email they send me back was a load of s*** , with several incorrect statements , namely that sabs are "brave" !!! let me know how you get on, otherwise just keep hassleing them

Hunt sabs are experts at winding hunt supporters up remember. Whenever writing letters to lush or otherwise, probably a good idea to take a few deep breaths and make sure you keep the moral high ground. Sabs have no dignity - for instance youtube is littered with their pathetic, edited, propaganda videos, but the CA and otherwise have always refused to sink to their level. Keep it up.

I wrote airing my concern that their propaganda stated thet hunters were cruel to "horses, hounds and foxes"

This is misleading in my opinion. If they want to do something like this they should at least get their facts straight.

_JH_ do you work for the CA?

I really just dont understand how in these tough times they want to lose their customers ?could they not chose a deserving unoffensive charity if they want to GIVE away money.
I just dont get it.
R2R u said apparently the're active members of HSA? iv never met a sab that smell nice..

The public really needs to know this high street shop is funding militant organisations.

It just makes me so cross that we as hunt supporters have been attacked both verbally, physically and mentally by these horrible HSA members but we have continued to protest in a calm and civilized manner. No where does the press pick up on this and note our vigilant no violence or abusive protests! Also no where do we force our views onto others, we simply continue to support a vital industry that is up agains such constant attack.

sorry but just had a giggle, I have images of sponsorship being in the way of bath bomb supplies to throw at hunt supporters.

TBH, they would easily ruin any scent! I never liked their stuff anyway

I don't understand it either. Most companies are hugely picky about supporting 'controvrisal' charities at anytime let alone the moment. Marketing mistake I feel!

But I am deeply gutted about this I loved their stuff but never again will I be purchasing from there

I shop there alot, as do alot of my horsey friends. I have called my friends and let them know about this and Lush will not be getting any more money from any of us!

One of the girls I called had rocks thrown at her by HSA members whilst at a hunt. WHEN SHE WAS 12. She was very lucky not to have been seriously injured.

Lush cosmetics have done themselves a real drop kick I think, as they have now been on the Forum and we all know many horsey people use it and the word spreads about them YUK YUK!!!!!! how the little falls so fast.

I have emailed them a nice and polite and hopefully objective email, asking them the be aware that 99% of hunters are now hunting legally, and raising my concern that HSA et al are violent towards people dogs and horses who are hunting legally. I have suggested that they attend a few hunts, without letting people know they are from lush, so that they can see beyond the propaganda on both sides.
