Can anyone here help out by spreading the word locally? I have posted the following locally and have BHS support, we hope to gain more support over the coming weeks where possible in getting the transport department to changes the plan to include all road users, the work is due to start in less than 4 weeks and the council have been fobbing me off for over a year only to be told on the 23rd December that no plans for equestrian users have been considered!
Calling all horse riders/owners near Stopsley - the council have finalised their plans for the new junction/crossing over the A505 by the Aquatic development on Butterfield Green Road, without any provision for the numerous equestrian users that use the lane or cross over to reach Putteridge...
With have one final say in getting them to change their minds by using the power of the media, please help support the plans to include riders in all future development and safe guard our rights for future generations. On Saturday 21st we will be meeting the press outside the Aquatic development around 10am (tbc) for a photo shoot and opportunity to make an impression (plus voice your views), please help me, my daughters and friends by joining us for this 'moment of fame' followed by tea, cakes and carrots!
