I'm interested in what others think of Lux Z progeny as I have a dutch mare by him out of an Animo mare who I think a lot of. She is exuberant and throws her heart and soul into everything she does under saddle while being the easiest horse imaginable in the stable.

I am far from a millionaire and would like another, so where would you suggest I look?

My son loves riding our mare and has brought her on from starting Newcomers to jumping DC in first class over that height, a 1.25 the weekend before last. She is SO straight yet really fun:

Thanks, ColourFan! I found these, too - the first I left a message for and the second was near us and is sold (and way out of budget) and the last two will be over budget as well I have no doubt. There is another on horsedeals near us but it is a complete novice and they want huge money for her. So, the search continues!

We have 2 broodmares by Lux and a yearling colt.Only the colt is for sale though as we dont keep geldings or colts. The fillies are sharp and the colt is like a gelding(Fantastic Temp). We also have a mare by Animo which is known to throw fizzy horses and so is Lux so it is nice to know that the combination worked for you.Ireland has a lot of his younger horses as he has stood here for 6 years I think so maybe start looking here as he has really clicked with Irish Mares.

Colourfan - we would go to the continent.

BallyshanHorses - thanks for your post. Our mare is 17hh in a 15.3hh body - almost more stride and jump than she knows what to do with. Pm me details of your colt and do keep your eyes open for anything else by him. We are in Ireland regularly so viewing is no problem.

My mare is by Lux Z and is a complete sweetheart.
Unfortunately I had a stroke earlier this year so may need to consider selling her.
Would you consider a mare that needed bringing back into work after having a foal or did you want something in work and competing.
She is 8 years old and the dam is out of Voltaire.
