I was looking at LWP site to see how much bedding would cost to bulk buy and notice they now sell Straw pellets and Miscanthus pellets.
Does anyone know the difference / tried them or have an opinion as to which is best?

My priorities i suppose are 1. Dust free as possible 2, absorbant and then i suppose price after that. Storage might also come into it but im assuming a 10kg of wood pellets will take the same space as 10kg of the others?

LWP are great but best price on miscanthus/straw pellets when I last looked was http://www.strawpelletsltd.co.uk/Animal-bedding.html I got a tonne in hippo bags to get the best deal.Sadly I've changed back to having 2 on straw (big bale) one on miscanthus and one on nu-wood (similar to miscanthus)due to pending house sale & move and didn't want the hassle of moving the hippo bags in case of a sudden sale or having them stored at home..(some people can't see past things) I WISH i was still on either wood or pellets of any kind. The day i sell the house I'll be ringing up the night before to place my order for three tonnes..the more you get the cheaper it is. you won't look back unless you are a white bed lover-if yes go for premium wood and don't bother damping it down at all!

Ive tried using woodpellets (not the LWP ones) and they were very dusty. Ive currently got shavings but theyre dusty as well. Ive also tried greenmile cardboard bedding which that seems to be the best dust free bedding & im going to switch back to that.
