I have been mulling an idea over in my mind for a while now and would be much appreciative if you could give me you oppions on if its a good idea, weather you think anyone owuld find it interesting.

Having a horse which suffers from lymphangitis i find that there is little support for lymphangitis and cellulitis and would like to set up a website and forum with tips and discussions about the condition, including alot of professional help (my vet has offered to write) and also endorsements from any organisations who are supportive and will.

What do you think?!

PS it'll give me summit to focus on while Im between jobs!

My lovely Penfold has suffered from this and my last vet told me that his legs would remained filled but I changed vet and they gave him another antibiotic and he was fine in a week.
I would love to share with others any help.

I said yes, yes, yes!

I had a horse who suffered bady from lymphangitis and when i was researchimg it i could find very little about it at all, that said it was back in the days when not many people had internet access so i relied on the good old fashioned vet books!

Horrid conditions which needs careful and highly trained veterinary care which is all too often hard to come by in my opinion.

Most vets miss out diruetics when treating this and its a disaster when they do.

I'd definitely be interested in this have just suffered a case of cellutitis and not knowing how to get rid of it completely - He's happy again but there is still a little swelling in his leg which seems to go down with exercise but isn't as normal as his other leg so any ideas on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Laser treatment is good for draining the lymphatic glands, and non obtrusive

I think this is a fatnastic idea that you have had. Having had Mick suffer with this I would love more information. I wonder how many horses suffer from this?
Even if it is not a huge number, this support would still be invaluable for those that do.
Great idea.....Anything I can do to help, let me know!
