Taking my new welsh d out to our first local show tomorrow- eek!

Practised loading today and took her round the block in the trailer and she was very chilled about it all

I'm doing the in hand class and if I'm brave and she's taking it all in her stride we'll have a bash at the ridden class too.

Question is about what I wear for the in hand class as I read that the handlers trousers should be different colour to ponies legs- my pony is chestnut with white socks so I was going to wear navy trousers with short boots and on top half wear canary shirt, navy spotty tie and my green tweed jacket that has a navy collar - does that sound ok? And should I wear my show hat for in hand too?

Sounds fine what you have got whether you wear your show hat or not is up toi dont usually wear one at all
