Quite a few people have posted on this in the past so maybe worth a search to get different views. I've been myself and left running! It's a yard full of horses, all ages, all breeds, some looking quite wild. People turn up and leave with a horsebox full. As you would expect many turn out to be horror stories and some are find - buyer beware!

steer well clear all these horses are collected from irelands slaughter houses and sales in this country.
i went once and left in tears after he swapped a mares colt foal to a filly as the people buying the mare didnt want a colt ?
needless to say both mares attacked their new babies.
barbaric is a word that springs to mind

aw, just got out bath to check if anyone replied....sounds horrid, probably back to the drawing board then, i did suspect they would be involved with the slaughter houses. cheers for the posts

Can only say as I find, you go in with eyes wide open and sentiment in your pocket not on your sleeve, yes they are cheap and may well have problems in some shape or form but I went several times and bought carefully, I now have a charming quiet, kind cob who has blossomed from a sad and scared waif to a lovely riding horse, I can understand the "features in horsey mags" but just what do people expect for their money? If you are paying no more than £1000 for a 14.2 pony or 16.2 horse there is going to be a ? !

You can get a bargin, I've had afew really good ones but not without alot of work put in to them and often requiring certain health issues to be sorted first.

stay clear as my friend went to look and she said she seen nothing like it she would never think twice from buying from there
