Sad for the horse, and the owner. Huge shock for all involved.

Very sad, heard about it on Radio 2 in the car this morning. Must have been incredibly scary and it said that the driver was ok, just being treated for minor injuries and shock and no others were hurt.

In light of the recent thread about the in foal mare being killed by a young driver and the way it was reported, the story on the news of Radio 2 this morning started, "A horse has been tragically killed after running onto the M4 motorway near to Membury services this morning".

Very sad all round and thoughts are with the owners and everyone who witnessed what must have been horrific.

OMG I have a friend who has horses very near the M4 in that area..... really hope it isn't one of hers. Poor horse, and very scary for those involved.
