Does anyone know if the M62 is running ok with all this snow?? next tues im off on holiday and just wanting to know if we should book into a travelodge day before. I bloody hate snow and me a OH are full of cold yet again.

sorry....... but WHAT!!!!!!!!! Its one of the first cross pennine roads to be affected by the snow!!!!!! certainly to be avoided AT ALL COSTS in this weather! Could be OK (stranger things have happened) for next tuesday but seen as more snow forcast for the weekend too ...

The M62 is still moving (very slowly) but the sliproads at junc 22 are completely blocked.
I'm confused by your post... where are you heading from/to and where does a Travelodge fit in with it? Are you trying to get to Manc airport?

I know how bad it is thats why i am asking im coming from Barnsley to Manchester airport for a holiday. You can only go snake pass or M62 i we would never think of going snake pass plus its closed. There is a travelodge at the airport and we fly at 9am tues my question was do you know if its moving as we are thinking of booking for monday night so we can take our time on monday to get there.

If this carries on then yes, do that - it is open but it'll take you forever to get there.
