Well today was the day, and yes it was still there because I asked for the saddle to be put aside
When I got to the saddlers, the chap had a good look at my girly, and decreed that she wasn't going to be the easiest to fit, as she was in his opinion short in the rib cage, with sharks fin withers. So I was a bit worried that the wonderful saddle that I had seen 3 weeks previous wouldn't fit.
You can imagine our surprise that the saddle I had picked fitted like a glove! A slight tweak to the flocking at the back and my giraffe TB actually offered an outline... I was over the moon. Not only that but she felt all swingy.
So here is my new pride and joy, my saddle that cost more than my horse did.
The saddler was most complementary, and said I had a good eye for a saddle
mmm, well that is debateable since madams old saddle was a wintec!
