Mad weather??

OK, braced myself for gales and lots of rain, put spare boots and coat in the car just in case for the trek to work....and the sun is shining. There is a tiny breeze, but nothing even half like the forecast!! Anyone got the weather they said was coming??

no, not yet, but as i spent all of last sunday chasing my greenhouse around the lane i am very glad.

We had it this morning - strong winds and heavy rain but is now not that windy and bright sunshine

Dont get this weather sometimes!!

Oh it’s been horrid down here in Kent, really windy and rainy.

Saying that there is just a slight glint of brightness now, not going to last for long though, me thinks.

I'm in Essex, we had a bit of wind and rain first thing, but is really bright and sunny now, not windy at all. Madness.

Horrible in Northumberland, raining and windy since I got up. Horses just standing in the field with their backs to the rain. Brought them in but they were very unsettled with the wind and wanted to be back out, so the fools are out in the field again!

It looks like it is going to start raining in Derby now

YUP! In North Somerset it blew the bins around all last night, and rearranged the garden furniture. Now we are having spells of rain, then sunshire and it's pretty blowy with more to come in the next two days.

Well woo hoo, I can hardly wait

There was heavy rain and wind in the early hours of this morning. There's heavy rain on and off right now but looking out to the sea it looks like more to come!

Someone told me the worst ever storm in 20 years is supposed to be happeneing today...
So far it's been raining a bit and there's a breeze, but certainly not a storm!
