Thanks guys, Happy would certainly sum it up, slightly bonkers would also work!! Any CC is welcome, though I know its not a particularly inspiring vid!

She looks great!! And I sympathise with the "happy, bouncy, excited-because-I-am-jumping" thing - had she been far more lazy/less bothered about picking her legs up I'd be questioning whether she was infact Tilly as we had pretty much the exact same yesterday!

Can't offer any CC but can I ask a qu... how do you stay so calm and allow the early take offs? Somehow I manage to hang on to T enough that she gets that extra stride in but then ends up taking out the pole with her front legs (understandably!). If anything, she needs to learn to go off a long one but I am really struggling to get the balance between making her wait (rather than full blown tanking) but not burrying her into the bottom :/

Wow she's happy.... It's fab when they so love their job....

My mare's just been given the go ahead to start cantering and jumping.... :-D although I did jump a sneaky cross pole about 10 days ago, which was 'entertaining'....!

Ginn, pleased Tills is feeling so well!! Madam is a fan of going on a long one which is actually not ideal, I've got photos of her jumping 1.10tracks and taking strides out at oxers which make my sjing friends go a bit green, but it never feels hairy! The key with her is keepig her 100% infront of the leg and as uphill as possible....also keeping a contact in front of a fence, if you drop her she will also run into the bottom of a fence...there are some untidy jumps on the vid due to me trying to hold on for another one, her fighting and sticking her head up and so dropping her shoulder...so riding for "withers up" helps I think....does that make sense?

Hi KatB, the new boy is fine, there's a bit more to work on then we thought, he's quite sensitive and could get hot quite easily, but then a bit slow thinking to a fence, maybe because he's always been ridden by proffessionals.... but we're working on that. We've got an indoor ode this weekend, so we'll see what we've got after that......

heeheehee she looks alot of fun! :D

I too have one who loves to jump. Last time we were out jumping she jumped an extra 3 jumps after we had finished the course- i was merely a passenger and just had to go with her haha! to be fair it was a tight indoor and there wasnt much room between the fences.

That brought a smile to my face thanks for sharing.
