Im selling.

Winston is up for sale. Went for ride the other day and my sister and my friend galloped off and he trotted. I love him to bits but he has now become officially boring to ride! I feel so mean but hes done his job I have full confidence back now. I rode my girl today who was back to her jogging, spooking and welsh ways and I loved it. Just fingers crossed he will sell in this pants market. I feel so mean because he is a fab ride if you wanna walk and trot all day but I wanna gallop and jump again now.

Yes I think you are making the right choice just think of it as passing on his services so he can help someone else get going again. It is a partnership and has to match both parties. I hope you find someone lovely for him, sounds a treat!!
 
Yes you are doing the right thing.I bought mine from a teenager who loved him to bits but was bored to tears by him as he had done his job and given her loads of confidence.He was just what I was looking for and I love him to bits.Your horse is what a lot of people are looking for.Should sell well and you will be in a position to be very picky about where he goes.
 
sounds like he has done his job well for you and I agree you should have no difficulty selling him at all. He sounds perfect for Benson 21 if he is a weight carrier.She has been searching for ages.
 
he sounds just what Benson21 is looking for......dont sell your lovely horse till she has seen the ad.....he looks abut the height/price she is looking for from what i can tell reading the threads on here.....id PM her if i was you it could make her day!
 
oooo he is PERFECT for Benson21....everything crossed that this is a happy HHO match (just like the clippy/farrier/suffolk punch mare match)!!
 
I don't think you should feel bad, obviously you'll miss him but I'm sure he'll prefer to do the same kind of work/hacking etc as a his rider, if you now want to go off and do more when he's happy sticking to what he knows and preferes then I'm sure he'll appreciate a like minded owner too.

Hope you find him a nice home. :)

OMG this is so exciting, i really hope it all works out and he is perfect for you Benson21! when are you going to see him? i cannot wait to hear how you get on, i have got all of my fingers and toes crossed for you :)
 
Waiting to here from my friend who is coming with us to when she can come, but they are only half an hour away from us, I am desperately trying to stay calm!!!
 
Ohh, I am so excited too!! All the best of luck Benson21 - I'd be there in a flash to help out too if I could, but Dorset is a 'ickle' drive away from Kent!
