Can any one recommend some one who makes made to measure bridles, in the South East (Kent) area? my friend has had a bridle on order for months & I thought she would do just as well to have one made, or if any one knows any shops that have a full/cob size flat hunter bridle in stock? at least that way she might have it for next year!

Barnsby will do made to measure, Donkeymad's husband is a saddler and will do made to measure too

Know the problem, when Chancer was 18 months, a cob size was about right. Now he is 4, he is not really a cob or a full but sort of between. My old TB's show bridle fits sort of but looks very scruffy, ok for schooling and hacking and to be honest a velvet browband ain't right on a gypsy cob

He needs a noseband and browband just under full size with cob length cheek pieces. I also want slightly shorter reins than full and not bulky as I have kid sized hands. Matt was very helpful and said he can do all.

Mine is exactly the same and I know how hard it is to get a bridle that fits, I need cob cheek pieces, full size throat lash and browband and a noseband somewhere in between the two. He's currently in an Albion KB that fits well apart from i could do with the throatlash being an inch longer. I had a Barnsby made last year for the small ginger pony who is also hard to fit and Donkeymads husband has agreed to make my horse a ridden show bridle for next season.
