Madhector, any news yet?

Well if you have so have I. I believe he was due to go to Newmarket this coming Monday so am hoping no news means he's doing well enough for that to be the case.

So it's be good vibes and fingers crossed for Monday as long as he gets through this weekend OK.

Hi, he doesn't seem to be getting any worse, so we are still on for Monday, vet has got him on more anti inflammatories till sat, as then she wants him off them so they don't mask any symptoms on Monday.

Tbh I am just leaving him well alone as seems to make him happier, just hoping he hangs on to his shoes as well as they are weeks overdue, but couldn't risk the farrier getting kicked(he now has a very well aimed kick which rarely misses, has got me twice) It so sad as he would never have thought about kicking out before all this, now it is his first reaction to anything

I am dreading Monday, did what I promised myself I wouldn't which was look through the big fat vet book, and all the causes of chronic abdominal pain seem to have poor outcomes.

Will keep you posted, thanks for the luck

Good luck from me too. I have been checking on here every day for news about Jerry but sort of hoping there wouldn't be any until Monday in case it wasn't good news. I would have had to read everything too if I was in your shoes but you mustn't lose hope - every horse is an individual and the big fat vet book is talking in quite general terms.
Hope you have a good weekend - hopefully things will look a lot better by this time next week.
