Good Evening All,
Feeling slightly tragic about losing my Maesmynach mare 2 weeks ago I have been researching her breeding lines. I have discovered that she has some full siblings and I was hoping that someone might know someone that maybe know/knew these horses? It is purely curiosity and nostalgia as I am interested to know if these horses are as fantastic as she was. Anyway the names are as follows –
MAESMYNACH BOBBY DAZZLER
MAESMYNACH MODRWY
MAESMYNACH PASIANT
Thank you so much for your time………x

So sorry for your loss, I love Maesmanach cobs. I put my TB Advanced eventer to Maesmanach Welsh Flyer. She produced a lovely foal that won his class at the Royal Welsh Show. He grew to 18.2! He progressed to GP dressage but sadly his coffin bones disintergrated due to his extreme height and he had to be PTS. Eric Davies Maesmanach came to see him as he did not believe his stallion could produce such a monster. Lovely horses, some say they are not typey welsh cobs, but they are roadsters and very versitile.

and yet I knew of a purebred Maesmynach that made 17h!

sorry for your loss OP, I'm another fan of Maesmynach cobs, good luck in your research.

Wowsers!! She was only 14.2h and when I contacted Eric and Nicola they were surprised as her sire was Maesmynach Cmryo coch so expected her to be bigger but she rode like a 16hh very sassy and sophisticated, loved her job and really was one in a million. I am unsure of where to look tbh so just hoping that someone knows someone!

Either go to the Welsh Welsh Cob site, or better still contact Eric and Nicola. Even better go and visit them at their stud, they would welcome you and help you find all you want to know. You will have a lovely day seeing the stallions and mares.

@ justabob I visited them about 2 years ago......had a fantastic day and they are the most friendly welcoming people ever! I have emailed them to advise them of Adloniant's passing and my thirst for information on the 'siblings'.

I have two Maesmynach mares. I love them. Had them both directly from Eric and Nicola and agree with what everyone says above. They are both big girls. My rising four year old is 16.1 already.
My 9 year old is a cracking eventer.
I am sorry for your loss it is heart breaking to lose a loyal friend.
