We rehomed Maggie our 2 year old Staffy x in October. She hadn't had any training or socialising and was very nervous and under weight when we got her. She came from the local rescue and was picked up as a stray. She used to stand up on her back legs and try and get any people or dogs when they came near.

It took till January to get her settled and trained enough to take her to the local training classes. Her training is comming along well in and out of class. She has learned not to scave food, her recall, retreiving her toys and giving them me back, not stealing Millies!! She used to bark at visitors and run away, now she loves everyone who comes round. She is a lot less nervous.

So they have decided she will be fine to go up into the middle class. She is still reactive at times to the dogs there and still has her mzzel on in class just in case. But has come a long way. So we'll see how she goes in the new class. She a cleaver girl!! :)

Thanks!! She has taken a lot of work, but as you say it is very rewarding to see her improve so much. She such a nice dog. Besides, it's kept me out of mischief spending time working with her!!
