Maggots

Farrier came out this morning and whilst trimming Monty he found maggots in his frog he said with all the flys this year they lay on the ground and it would have got into his frog as there was a tiny flap, feel really bad for not noticing poor little man.
He has cut bits away, flushed it out and pushed them out with his finger, which made us feel a bit ill.
He suggested to use some stockholm tar which i have never used before so need to go and get some of that now

Give it a good scrubbing with Hibiscrub then apply the Tar...you can buy it in spray cans now

Least they only eat away dead tissue if it's any consolation!
