Basically I want to loose weight but can't suffer for too long!
If I could find a good diet to take the weight off then I can keep it off.
Anyone got any magical diets?]
Izzi :D

tummy tuck? oops thats me lol, i wait with deep interest as i have been tryin dearly but going to bed a fatty and waking up skinny just isn't happening to me (not sure what i am doing wrong?)

i believe its hard work, and thats my problem! good luck x

I've found that cutting potatoes and pasta out of my diet, and cutting down on bread, has made a massive difference, also cut portion size. Still eat what I want but the weight is coming off quite quickly.

Eat a lot of chicken/turkey risottos and chinese-type dishes (e.g. my favourite honey, lemon and ginger sauce) all homemade, have a very tasty recipe for a pizza base (thank you James Martin, not only are you my perfect man but you're also an excellent chef!) which you can pile toppings on, always have homemade veg soup in the fridge for a quick meal. I don't really like salad, but have discovered that I do like spinach, so have spinach salads instead at work.

Has worked an absolute treat for me, lost three stone so far :)

see this is exactly what i do wrong!
i eat loads of bread and pasta! and when riding i always drink lucozade (found out yesterday how heavy in calories that is!)

point taken (away shoppin lol) x

Bread was my biggest downfall... took a while to wean myself off it! Also made little changes like skimmed milk instead of semi-skimmed, canderel/splenda isntead of sugar on cereal/in tea, glass of water instead of glass of milk, extra-light philadelphia instead of butter on toast (when I allow myself bread :D) and if I do need a snack, sultanas are great, and I always have a stock of Rich Tea or Marietta biscuits which now taste less like cardboard than before, but are like a quarter of the calories of most nice-tasting biscuits!

Current biggest downfall is cheese... I really love cheese! Luckily I never really ate crisps or drank fizzy drinks so didn't have to cut down on these :)

EDIT: oh yeah, and booze... was quite a big drinker before (as in would go out once a week and because I'm such a big unit can drink rugby players under a table) but have really cut back on that. Haven't had a proper mental night out in ages and when I do, it's vodka and sparkling water with a dash of lime. Actually tastes quite nice too!
