I have an Armadillo magnetic wristband for when I'm mucking out, my wrist usually aches really badly but I put this thing on and hey presto it stops hurting! If I thought I needed to use magnets on my horse I wouldn't hesitate to try them, it makes a heck of a difference to me!

I have a copper and magnetic bangle, but then I'm a bit of an old cripple - dodgy hip & shoulder

. Think they must work, coz lost it and now my shoulders starting to ache OWWWWW.

My horse has a magnetic rug for traveling (seems to reduce the amount of warm-up time I need). She also has magnetic wraps that can go round knee, hock or tendons. She only needs these in the winter, as her hinds tend to fill over night, but don't even if she has only had them on for a hour or so while I feed and put her to bed. bless (I don't leave them on overnight, as don't need to yet!!!). My friend also borrows these wraps for her mares arthritic hocks and swears they make a difference.

i recently had to have my horse scanned and I asked the surgeon/vet what he thought of them. He said for legal reasons he could not recommend them he said they had not had a proven scientic test carried out that showed results that were registered (techincal eh!) but he said when a horse wearing magnetics was scanned (at the same time) it def quickened there blood flow and so the horses heated up quicker in that area, so I guess increased blood flow should speed up repair (but obviously not on open wounds)

hope that makes sense (and for the record I use them)

No scientific evidence to say they work... but lots of people claim they do!!
But if you are going to go down that road just buy some magnets and sew them into boots/rugs and don't pay the OTT prices that are charged for magnetic boots/rugs. If it's going to have any effect it'll have the same effect.
