My horse has a tendency for his hind legs to fill if he stabled for many hours. Last year it was getting quite bad especially when turnout was limited and then I was battling with mud fever. So this autumn I have gone all guns blazing to sort these two problems out. I clipped his legs back, and have been using Keratex Anti-Fungal Wash and then using the powder. I have now moved on to the Pig Oil and smothering his back white socks in them and touch wood no mud fever at all!!

My horse has also been in his box this week a fair bit as we have had quite a lot of rain. I bought some magnetic boots a few weeks ago and have used them overnight on him and in the morning, his legs have not filled at all! So far so good with my new strategy on beating these problems, so long may it continue!
