I'd like to ge my big cob some magnetic boots or the red light therapy boots, but I am unsure if this will be possible as he has so much feather. I'm looking at improving circulation and reducing stiffness. Obviously, I know this isn't the main way to relieve symptoms. I just want something extra to aid. I've already got him on appropriate supplements, diet, exercise, and enrichment to encourage movement when stabled.

Unlike most cobs, he actually gets more itchy and bothered by legs when fully clipped. I have another cob that has a feather off as he's terrible with them left on.

I would say it diminishes any positive action. When I was having winback treatment on my lad I had to clip a spot on his bum and tum for it to have the correct circuit and this was during summer.

I'm unsure. I use magnets on my one without feather, thankfully my feather boy doesn't need any assistance yet, the magnets actually seem to cause his hair to burn off and he ended up with a scab. I'm not sure if they were too strong for him.
