magnetic boots snapped

I think i may have bored everyone on here stupid with my recommendations for magnetic boots whenever anyone asks about them particularly re arthritis. I bought mine 2 months ago and have seen a difference.
This morning i changed them from my boys back legs to fronts as he was having the farrier for his fronts today and when i took them off (i take them off daily) i noticed that the magnetic strip no longer felt like a strip! When i took it out of the bag the magnets had snapped into several pieces!!!!
I have sent them back today and the shop i bought them from will contact the supplier and hopefully i will get a replacement or a full refund. They were very helpful. Wasnt expecting them to break though especially after such a short time, not a happy bunny, my boy could of done with them tonight after having the farrier, sods law!! Anyone else experienced their magnets snapping or did i just get a dodgy pair?!

I haven't read your other posts, so can I ask what make they were? I have both Bioflow and Verdus boots and never (touch wood) had any experience of snapping magnets. I also have a set from ebay (unbranded) and whilst the magnets are in good order, the velcro on the boots wasn't very sticky and had to be replaced as they slipped every night.

veredus boots are the best -had problems with a pair I got before as they made the leg really hot -these are great -supportive and easy to put on/take off. great as you can buy spare pads for inside -so we have two pairs and can still use them when one set of lining is in washing machine!

They are equilibrium magna therapy stable chaps. Really pleased with them in every other way, keep his legs warm but not over warm and the velcro fastenings are really strong even after washing just the damn magnets that are the problem!!! I'm hoping i just got a duff pair and that they will replace them..quickly!!! I was debating buying a spare set though so will have a look at the ones you've both suggested thankyou.
