Sorry if this subject has been covered before but we have a retired ex racer who has navicular in both fronts and a cyst in the coffin joint. He is on 2 Danillon per day and a joint supplement from the vet. Just wondering whether magnetic boots may be helpful.

The only way to find out is try the boots. I bought some on the recommendation from an acquaintance whose pony used magnetic leg wraps to manage laminitis. I had 'miraculous' results with a 22 yr old with arthritis, she literally went from hobbling to trotting in, within 24 hours. However I have tried them on other horses, mine and friends' and not had the same excellent results.

Thank you. I suppose it is a suck it and see option. Think I will give it a go.

They worked very well on my elderly NF mare. It's definitely worth trying some. I had Bio boots, they last well and you can get them re-constructed if they wear out.

I used magnetic hoof boots on both my old boy's front hooves when he was arthritic. He did seem a little better when coming out of his stable first thing in the morning, so I think they did help.
