I've recently tried out a magnetic bracelet for myself and found it works wonders for me, so I was looking at getting a magnetic collar for my eldest dog- she's a 10yr old JRT and although she isn't showing any signs of stiffness she has slowed down a little overall, and I want to do the best for her. She's on a joint supplement as a preventative, and she still enjoys her agility loads, I'm just keen to keep her fit for as long as possible as she's a very active dog.
The trouble is most of them seem to be nylon, and she has always scratched non-stop with nylon collars- I found one silicone 'magnetic band' but its £40 plus postage and I was hoping to spend a bit less than that, as most of the other ones seem to be around the £20-25 mark. The other issue is finding one that fits- she has a soft swelling on the side of her neck (vets aware) that doesn't bother her, but means she needs a longer collar, but without being thicker material, otherwise it's just too big and bulky for a small dog. Has anyone ever come across a collar that might be suitable? TIA
