Has anyone used these, and were they effective? Spud has been diagnosed with arthritis. He has metacam for as and when he needs it, and a supplement, but if there are other things aside from this that would help, I'd be willing to give them a go. I'm fairly sceptical about these collars, but has anyone had good results from them?
 
I will give anything a go as long as it doesn't cause harm and I don't expect miracles.

I have used a magnetic collar with some success (I think) Maybe try turmeric iin addition to the metacam) too
 
Both my girlies wear them for varying degrees of arthritis and I must admit I'm a convert.

Button has very mild arthritis in her back but she's not needed meds since she's had the collar. Kiera is also on daily Carprieve (she's quite ancient now) but I think the collar does help.

I know the jury is still out on these things but they don't do any harm and don't cost the earth. I got the Bioflow ones from Amazon.
 
Interesting responses, thanks guys. Someone I know is going to lend me one so we can try before we decide whether to invest in one. We'll see how he does with it!
