My gelding has an idiopathic bog spavin, he's had thorough veterinary examinations and x rays and has no issues with lameness. I've been looking at different brands of magnetic hock boots, I thought equine magnetix looked quite good as had 3 straps to help hold in place but there are limited reviews. I have also read in previous threads that premier equine, the other brand I was interested in, can slip. However, any reviews on any brands would be greatly appreciate!
I have also looked at the ice vibe boots, although a little bit more pricey, I'd love to hear if anyone has had any previous experience of them working well on similar fluidy hock swellings or even windgalls
It would be brilliant if I can do something to help reduce the fluid as I don't want to go down the route of injecting steriods as he's only young.
