Horse has pastern joint arthritis in both front legs. Have been using a magnetic band which I got in the summer as it was too hot for boots/wraps.

Currently using thermatex leg wraps over the top of the band anyway so was thinking it may be better to get wraps with magnets in.

Needs to be material that is breathable/wicks moisture away as will sometimes be put on after legs washed

Needs to be able to leave on day and night as currently on box rest and has wraps on all the time. I think some of the stronger magnets recommend only for certain number of hours

any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Mines developed arthritis in pastern joints, however I have the magnetics on at night, and turnout boots on in the day to keep joints warm and drt - but FWIW Ive certainly noticed the difference since he's had the magnetics... I found mine on the great Bay of Eeeeb... prolific seller - certainly not the most expensive either, but done the trick!

I have the old style Bioflow wraps, very good but a pain to deal with as mine lives out - bandaging him alone in the field with two pain in the bum youngsters didn't work too well! I've bought the Bioflow boots, and he wears them nearly 24/7 (occasional day off from them). They do make his legs sweaty, but they have made a big difference to him, in a positive way.
