As my boy has just been diagnosed with mild Kissing Spine :(, I am willing to try anything before the op to try and make him more comfortable.

Have looked up various things that can help one of which is the magnetic therapy pads.

Was thinking of getting the Equilibrium back pad but at £80 I wanted to know if anyone else has used them and what the results were.

Thanks xx

Get it!!!

I am a MASSIVE fan of magnetic therapy!

I am lucky to own a centurion mini pulse which is for legs (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy) and on my neds one with spavins and then a bone cyst which was xrayed 3 months later to find that it had filled in! (Vets at newmarket were stunned)

I also have the magnetic pad from equilibrium and use it over night on my little chap who nearly died this year with systemic lami attacks and then straight into cushings (he is only 10) and his life has turned around-he is no longer lame (he was always going to be paddock lame) but now he is sound and cantering about. I also put the mini pulse on his legs as well.

You can hire the centurion therapulse rug from centurion if you want to do some further magnet work with your horse.

I have stunned vets, farriers, physios etc-my horse with spavins is out competing again-never ever thought I would get him out again.

My advice! Go for it! You should see the results quite easily. My physio confirmed results just 3 weeks into treatment! The range of mobility my horse has got and yes he has a little bit of kissing spine going on-confirmed by vet and physio-but the treatments thus far are allowing him to have a fabulous life.

Good luck
