Your experiances please, do they really help.

Have you tried them? if so which ones, did you see any clear benefits? (depending on the severity of the conditon etc) and make which would you recomend?

Also while on the subject, has anybody used the above with homeopathic treatment?

Thank you

Cairo wore straps from Magnetic. He never had these removed, they are designed to be kept on. As they are straps they don't cause heating. I just once a week ran my finger under them to make sure nothing rubbed - they never did.

For him they proved very successful. He went from 4 bute a day and stumbling to within 2 weeks, down to 2 and walking out sound. Within the month, he was off bute and able to walk and trot fine and also was cantering round by himself.

He went on to be 1/10 lame but was fine to hack out, have the occasional gallop and jump on good ground for several more years until other OAP problems caught up with him.

When we took the straps off for his cancer treatment, he went pottery and increasingly lame. Once they were back on, he went back to his normal self.

We did try some homeopathic treatment but to be honest, did not notice any change and just kept with the straps, linseed for his joints along with MSM 1000 which seemed to work the best.

Thankyou ThereasaF thats is very helpful and interesting, where abouts did you purchase these wraps from? is that the acutaly make? do you have a link?

Here you go

You can buy just one and if you have a huge hairy beast like I did, they will make them longer. The standard size is great for a TB type.

In this pic, Cairo has them front and also just above his hocks. Unfortunately the little terror in the picture decided they were great to chew off, so he had to have the next set on his fetlocks like he did on front.

Certainly worth a try when you have used up all other options as we had.

just on a scientific point of view, there has not been any scientific research done to prove that they actually help. Like lots of alternative therapies, they work wonders for some, and do not alot for others.
So hopefully they will help you Kenzo, just please dont be shocked if nothing changes.
