Has anyone successfully used magnets on either themselves or their horses?

I am thinking about getting a back support for when I ride and was just wandering whether it would be worth it.

I have equimagnet patches that I use on the horses and myself. The horses definiely feel freer through the back if they travel wearing the magnets in their rugs. Both OH and I have used them on ourselves. OH is a real sceptic but even he admitted they worked.

Other magnetic gadget I have is a magnessage, it looks at bit like a wand and has a rotating magnet. My young horse was lame to the point that surgery was looking likely, decided I had nothing to lose trying the magnessage (an ebay purchase for £40) and he came sound in a very short period of time. Magnessage also works well on OH's dodgy knee!

Not everyone believes in the benefits and many are very synical but for me they seem to work.

I constanly have an ache in my lower back so thouhgt it might be beneficial to wear them whilst riding.
