Hi, yes I've used it on a few horses. One a TB, just highly strung- did nothing for him.
The next my current horse who is very very spooky and thrives on his nerves. It made him very quiet/ a bit too lazy!
Currently using up the pot on our Shetland as I've heard magnesium can be very good in helping avoid laminitis also. It's calmed him down a bit for sure!

fab fab fab stuff. My TB is chilled and happy on it - he's not a mega forward horse but can be anxious without it. He also shows less signs of tummy issues on it - previously had ulcers, this is probably a by product of being less stressed.

I use it on my WB x TB - have been using it for nearly a year now and so I'm not 100% sure whether it has an effect because it has been so long. I do remember noticing that my horse is far less spooky on it though, which in turn helps with his concentration, which is where the real issue lies. I may well take him off it or a couple of weeks though to see if it really makes a difference or not; I do think it's good to review these things sometimes rather than keep them on a supplement indefinitely.

Absolutely no effect on my previous lad, a very spooky shire cross and I've tried it with my new horse, a lively and spooky trotter x mare and it didn't do a dam thing for either of them.

Its worth trying brewers yeast (or some other digestive supplement) and salt alongside a calmer as they can have a marked effect on behaviour

Yep magnitude is just Magnesium Oxide at 3 times the price!

It's about £20 for 6 months which I don't think is too bad though I'm normally up for cheaper replacements

I buy my mag from progressive earth on eBay, costs I think 5.99 and last me forever.

This. I used to buy Magnitude but now use the Progressive Earth version. Cheap as chips!

I use mag ox, di calcium phospate and salt. works a treat. Our soil is deficient as it is sandy, good for iron though. All bought from herbal supplier ans a fraction of the price of magnitude.
