Maiden mare supplements

Hi there. Just wondering what people’s thoughts on giving supplements to maiden mares before covering are?
Have heard that a course of iron x cell can be good but hadn’t heard of it being used as a tonic like that before.
what did you give your maiden before covering, if anything? Thanks

Nothing, and definitely not anything adding in extra iron as horses do not need it unless something is seriously wrong with them!
