Mailer Bridging reins

Has anyone used mailer bridging reins? if so what do you think of them? I am thinking of buying a pair for hunting because my horse snatches the reins and pulls downwards!

i was thinking of buying these or a pair of jeffries bio grip reins, what do you think?

never heard of them but jockeys all bridge thier reins theory being the horse will feel they are pulling against themself due to the pressure they feel at the base of the neck as they pull. old boss always bridged his reins eventing
can have a double bridge by holding both reins in both hands, im strugling to explain myself on how how its done - you probably know!? well you can also ride with single bridge which i find easier, the 'bridge' being created by holding same rein on either side of neck! i find it hard work to control length of my reins while doing this. assume this device takes out that complication!?
 
Can't comment on the bridging reins as I've never used them. However, much as I love my bio reins for everyday riding, I've only used them out once hunting. It was an experience I don't particularly want to repeat. I have a head chucker who's incredibly strong and the bio reins were just too slippery. A bit of sweat and you might aswell let them go and hold on the the mane!
 
A friend who traions with Carol Mailer used to use them on her old SJ mare who was strong and plunged her neck down - she swore by them and doesn't get on anything now without them on as a precaution.

Know 2 or 3 people who have them that really rate them
