Mains electric fence energiser wanted

Anybody got one thats redundant and working??? Bought one off Ebay as new, but although all the lights came on, there wasn't enough volts to do anything, so it had to be returned. I don't need this for everyday use, just occasional, so perhaps somebody knows of one without me forking out a lot of money?

I can really recommend Rappa if you do have to resort to new. Works really well and they give excellent service. Think we had a leaflet with a voucher in Farmers Weekly for a 20% discount, am posting now so I can go back to this thread after I have had a rummage in the pile of paperwork on the kitchen table!

Just do what that bl**dy farmer up the road did when he wanted one....drive past and steal mine.

Spent ages wondering where had gone, but out on a hack one day saw it tucked behind some gorse in a corner of his field. It's a really expensive fencer, dayligt energy saving, cost me abou £200. But distinctive.

Pillock came raging down - I was quite open with everyone I had taken it back and someone called him. Kind of embarrasing for him that I had it UV post coded, and had the box, with the receipt and serial number. Let him rant for a bit before pulling that out in front of everyone.

The sheer cheek of some people. Can't believe he did it, can't believe he tried to brass it out either!
