Had to change all our hay due to the excessive rain ruining all the remaining bales. Pony won't eat it and it's been 6 days now, eating his bed of straw so that appears to be keeping him going although not ideal I'm just glad he's eating something at least.
He's usually a greedy oinker who would eat anything but he just will not eat this hay - some of the other horses have been picky about it too. Personally I think it's nice hay, not mouldy or dusty, however he hates it.
Yesterday I poured watered down apple juice on it and he ate a bit of it, soaking it alone doesn't help. Any suggestions would be great, thank you.
