Making own fly Spray

Hi, can anyone please tell me how to and what I need to do/buy to make my own fly spray. I buy different ones and nothing seems to work and I keep hearing people say they make their own and its better than shop bought ones.

Any help/ ideas would be gratefully recieved.

citronella - about 30ml, white wine vinager - about 150 ml, avon skin so soft - about 100ml - then topped up with water in a 1 litre bottle! Simples!

Shake well before each use though as the skin so soft seperates from the rest at the top of the bottle.

My boy with sweet itch has this on everyday and marmite and doesnt itch anymore! x

Citronella, fairy liquid, dettol in equal parts then dilute with 2 pints of cold tea, do not sniff it before you have diluted is i did this and nearly passed out!!

I do citronella and cold tea too, but have heard Avon skin so soft is excellent, so might try adding that this year!
