I have been feeling quite rubbish about my horses recently, but these last two days have been brill. Both of my horses have made progress! (Sorry about the length)
My 16.2hh 4YO- Yesterday I took her into the sand school first, did a little bit of walking and trotting then did some trotting poles. At first she knocked all the trotting poles(5 of them) with her back feet but she was really trying and by the end she managed to get over them and not knock any of them. I then tried jumping with her for the first time. I put all the jumps down to about 40-50cm and took her over them. She wasnt scared of the bright jumps or the fillers and happily walked over the small jumps. I then put her into trot and she attempted to jump them, but knocked them down, this didnt put her off though and we kept on trying and after a few tries she jumped them. I then took her around the whole course and she only knocked two down out of 9 jumps. I am so happy

My 14.2hh 15yo- She has been very very hyper and has been jumping into canter when meant to be trotting and galloping full pelt into jumps. I was riding her today, she trotted brilliantly (probably because I stopped tensing up and tried to stay calm) and didnt jump into canter once. She was still nuts over the jumps but I had the guts to keep going and not chicken out and give up jumping. So I got the jumps up from very small (about 50cm) up to around 70cm, which is still small but its progress!
