what programme would i need to make a video of me and my horse? i want the sound muted, a song put in, and it clow motioned?

You could do all that & more with Windows Movie Maker. Film your horse using a digital video camera, connect it to your computer via fire wire. Turn the camera on in play mode & the computer should prompt you automatically to up load. Once it's on your computer you can play with the film in Movie Maker & mute sound, add any music you've uploaded, slow motion, fade...all kinds of stuff....OK
