Am i right in thinking for a riding horse class you use a coloured browband? i have a bay TB and hoping to do a RH class in August and would love an excuse to wear a lovely red and navy browband and would like to have ago myself :)
Does anyone make them? how do you make them?
Thanks :)

I made a few a couple of years ago- can't quite remember how though! I think it involves sewing two colours of ribbon together at the end, then folding them over the browband one after the other? Have a fiddle- you can always undo it! :) xxx

Will have a go!
Can i use it for dressage and SJ or am i better off using a plain one?

I don't remember seeing any at dressage, but I doubt there would be much objection to it at local level.

I used to have a book called something along the lines of 101 things to make for your horse, and browbands were in there - have a google :)

im not sure about dressage either but i was going to use ne for sj until my pony got a little over excited!!! at home for hacking and excercising etc i have simple red and navy velvet one it looks really cute on my grey
