I used to, but it was very unscientific and because I was broke! I had access to a lot of meat - kangaroo, camel or feral donkey usually (it was in Australia BTW). I used to boil it up with brown rice and whatever vegetables came to hand. Also lots of garlic, it wasn't poisonous in those days (!?!) and it helped to keep the ticks off. The dogs did well on it. Nowadays I suspect things should all be weighed and measured.

I cooked for my Lurcher for about a year, she had a lot of health problems and was advised that she needed high protein but bland diet.

Now for healthy dogs am feeding raw which is amazing. Much easy to feed raw than cook if dog is healthy.

Well we came off kibble and went on to raw (again because of allergies). So not quite what you asked, but 🤪

We have seen an improvement in symptoms but I am kind of nervous about how well/if it’s balanced. But she looks well, really enjoys what I give her but does get the odd bit of cooked food too - left overs etc.
