I've bought some magnets of ebay recently and I'm waiting for them to be delivered. They are neodynium and very strong and are used for magnetic therapy which I intend to use them for. I'd like to sew them into my horse rug but I am not quite sure whereabouts I should place them and really which way they should be placed, ie should the repel side be away from the horse? Does anyone know what the best thing to do is as I made a magetic rug before and my horse seemed a lot looser after wearing it but I am not sure if I definetely had the magnets positioned correctly and which way they should face the horse, can anyone advise please?

Can't help, sorry. Just wanted to add a note of caution. I assume magnetic therapy (if effective) relies on the fact that the blood contains iron and iron is attracted to magnets. If you don't know what you're doing, you could cause more damage so be very careful. I've read somewhere about using magnets for humans and I'm sure that in some cases it is NOT advised.

As I understand it the magnets speed up the blood flow where they are positioned, rather like instead of dozens of people pushing through a doorway people filed through singly therefore faster.
I would be loath to use them unless I had vet. knowledge or you could cause more harm than good..

They are fine to use, except on open wounds and acute injuries. You should get instructions with it, depending on which set you bought.
