Malamute puppy with stomach upset

My mal puppy seems to be only passing puppy sized cow pat type stools (sorry gross I know) and I can't figure out if it's something he is/isn't eating.
He has the puppy sized "james welbeloved" hypo-alergenic lamb and rice stuff, has anyone had any experience of this causing stomach upsets? I have heard puppies just get this from time to time but I don't seem to remember having this problem with my older one.

I had this with my puppy with JWB despite introducing it very gradually, horrendous farting, and runny bottom, which stopped as soon as he was taken off it! I suppose it depends on whether you've always fed him this, or if its a new food?

I'd try changing foods

Would you consider raw, or part-raw diet?

Some of the husky type breeds have very sensitive tums.
