Male riders - long boots recommendations

Jack's feet have finally stopped growing

so thought I might buy him some leather long boots for his birthday. What do you all wear? He has wide feet and won't wear anything chunky.

My dad just has a cheapy pair of Toggi ones. He had a lovely pair of Regents before, bought second hand, but sadly they fell about after about 20 years wear.
